The FarmOroad is the 2004 SpotLight
class at the Nationals. Here is mine ready to
go. I scaled down from when my dad owned it.

![]() From 1981 National Show. My
dad pulling a 21 foot Airstream with his FOR.
Deane Sherman riding shotgun. Another shot of the big
pull.

![]() Mike Adams' Golf Cart started life
as a 1949 Crosley wagon. Mike bought his new toy from
Jean Allan last summer and has been having lots of
fun. Before Jean it was owned by a fellow in
Western Indiana.
|
![]() Mike would like to know about
earlier History if anyone recognizes the conversion.
"What do I plan to do with it? I dunno! I just liked
it, so I bought it."
|
![]() Dave Anspach, our Quarterly editor,
rolled into the 2003 Nationals on Wednesday with this
load, having just bought the CD wagon.
|
![]() Two days later the restoration was underway. Can't wait to see the progress at the 2004 Nationals. |
![]() Don Hammond's 1941 Crosley Convertible Sedan presented to him by his kids on his 66th birthday in May 2003. Daughter Jenny (the baby of the family) will graduate from Mary Washington College in May 2004. That's her smiling behind the wheel. The 41 is just like the first car he owned when he was 15. |
![]() "The orange color is not original of course, but does make it a bit easier to see when I drive it. The neighbors and their children are all delighted to see little Blossom as she putters through the community and she never fails to attract a crowd when we stop. It usually takes a bit of Crosley Pre War History and answers to many questions before I can amble on, but Blossom never fails to leave smiles and waves behind her when we go!" Don lives in Fairfax County, Virginia. |

![]() Here is John Buchanan's roundside with a nice flathead Ford displayed in the back. John brought his pickup down from Michigan for last years Nationals. That's Nancy, his wife, cleaning off the morning dew on Saturday morning. |
|
![]() You do see all kinds of Crosleys at the Nationals. Ted DellaCamera brought this one to last years Nationals. He even tried to set it on fire on Friday afternoon. Don't miss the excitement. |
|
![]() Paul believes he now has every attachment made for the FOR. More shots. |
|
![]() They made it. |
![]() Joshua Gunn writes - "It is supposed to be a 1948. It has a Crosley engine, transmission, rear end, frame, and steering. This tractor was built by a Wisconsin man who wanted a good, strong snow plow. He used two 57' Chevy front fender that were trimmed and welded together to form a hood and grill. To reduce the speed, he added a planitary reduction. " |
![]() "I plan to restore this one of a kind wonder in the near future." Joshua is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. |
|
![]() Jeff Ackerman President of the region and host to the meet tried to get Norm to finish the field, but once around the pond would have to do. |
|
![]() With out the help of Larry and Betty Taylor I would not have my Crosley today and a loving wife who has put up with a lot. It sports a Neal Daglow custom AM/ FM Stereo 6 volt radio that can be heard for blocks when on. The custom car guys drool with the sound. Now I'm getting ready for the Great Race in Texas. It's going to be April 7th to 10th in 2005. If it stays running that long, hope to send pix when I enter, fingers crossed." |
