Does anybody know if Crosley put the serial number for the Pre-Wars on the frame, and where it might be. I cannot find the tag on my firewall.

Does anybody know if Crosley put the serial number for the Pre-Wars on the frame, and where it might be. I cannot find the tag on my firewall.
On my 1941 the serial number was hid on the right side flange where the nose bolts on the right front side panel.
On our '39 the tag is on the firewall behind the carb, but on the '42 it's on the flange where the nose meets the side panel on the right side. it was really hard to see, we basically needed a bright light and for these old eyes, a magnifier!
