Show time - it was a beautiful day at the Crosley National. The buzz of Crosley engines is a wonderful thing to wake up to. Cars were asked to stop for a photo before parking on the field for the club magazine center spread, most did. The Spot Light class was Race Cars, I didn't get an exact number but it was a good showing including Salt racers, H-Modifieds, a Stock Car and 3/4 midgets. Cars on the field were around 100 giver take there were some that didn't stay on the field all day and other cars were parked around the grounds and then there were those to busy driving around having fun to be counted. Also didn't include a fair number of Crosleys for sale in the flea market. Show was another success with the annual meeting at 3pm where Dave was re-elected president along with other club business, see Fall Quarterly for full report. We ended the meet with something new, the Chuck Koehler memorial picnic, was well attended by around 70 members and friends in an open pavilion, very nice spot for a picnic. Besides a time to remember Chuck, our treasurer that died soon after the 2015 meet, many other members who have passed that contributed to make the club great were remembered.
