Past Crosley of the Month Winners

CAC's First Lady Lois Friday's 1952 Super Sports

Dale Bryant of Elmira, NY bought his FOR off eBay in
April of 2000 and spent the winter restoring it.

Paul Gorrell's 1948 Sport Utility and you thought SUVs were new.

Shawn Robinson's 1950 Wagon. Here Barney is lined up for the 2001 Road Rally, Friday night at the Nationals.

The Wagon was named Barney by his daughter, the first time she saw the finished car.

Richard Fahey's 1948 Devin

52 Pick Up owned by Bill & Kim Via - Beckley WV

This unit was purchased around 1954 and used as a Kiddie ride at the annual Stuarts Draft Volunteer Fire Company Lawn party. Because of insurance requirements rides were discontinued and the Crosley was put in storage.

In 2001 after some encouragement and a donation from a young man who said he had ridden in this little fire truck a number of times the Crosley was restored. Finished product as it appeared in our 2001 annual Lawn Party Parade. Submitted by Randal Almarode for Stuarts Draft Volunteer Fire Company.

This pair of VC Models belong to Fred Sydral head of the North Star Region in Minnesota. Above we have a 51 Super Sports and to the right a 49 Hot Shot.

Warren Hulbert's Crosley powered 1948 Midget Racer.

At 2001 CAC Nationals

Mark Harrell's 39 Convertable Coupe. This was more than my pick as a great Crosley, it won 1st place in the Pre-War class at Wauseon in 2001

Steven Eggert of Wisconsin owns this great 1948 Sedan Delivery and won 3rd place in the CC class at Wauseon in 2001

1952 FarmOroad pickup owned by Merle Tiger. Merle purchased this car from a member in Tenn. It was formerly owned by the late Alvin Holsopple from Ohio.

It was in very good shape with the exception of some paint chips. Merle had it repainted just prior to the 2001 Nationals. This car is especially enjoyed by the Tiger family and their grand kids.

Paul Gorrell's custom 52 Convert. He won the best 52 in the Spotlight class at the 2002 Nationals.

All 1952 models were honored at the 2002 Nationals, almost 50 years to the day when Crosley shut the doors.

Besides the obvious continental spare, it has a Braje trimmed out engine and 3 tops, a clear top shown in top shot, a regular top and a removable hardtop shown both partially installed above. Sorry for two similar shots but I wanted to show the tops. Here is the front.
