I'm in the process of greasing my 47CC. Everything is according to memory and the Service Manual, except for the universal joint and front drive shaft bushing. I thought there was a vent hole [the manual says this] in the u-joint housing for tell tale when it was full, doesn't seem to be a vent hole!! I don't know if I'm filling the trans with grease or its really empty!! Do I keep going; till when? Also there isn't a grease fitting for front drive shaft bushing [manual says there is] but that's not too bad, don't remember there being one there. Trying to get some lube into front brake cable housings, any one have a trick for this? Rears where no problem as they will extend enough to coat and pull back through

The drive shaft bushing is in the middle of the torque tube, (also known as drive shaft) there should be a grease fitting there in the middle on the drivers side. When I put grease in my u-joint housing I just put 3 or 4 good shots and leave it be. But I do think there is a vent hole but I can't remember exactly where. The best way to lube your brake cables (in my opinion) is to take them off and let them soak in a bucket of light oil for a day or 2. After that, if they feel fairly smooth when you pull them by hand you should be good to go for a while.
