I noticed that the pilot bushing was worn. No problem to get out, but a problem to get back in. I tap it in the first part of the way using an inverted socket, which works pretty good. Rest of the way was more difficult and I turned the socket around which sorta worked but not really. I succeeded in buggering up the head of the thing. Is there an easy way to tap the bushing in? Second thing I notice is that the bushing is now smaller and needs to be reamed to accept the transmission input shaft. Any tips for doing this, short of getting a 1/2" ream, which I'd have to order?
