What is positive ground?

It is when you fall off the ladder and because of the sudden pain, you are positive you are on the ground. Seriosly, it means that the positive terminal of the battery is connected to the chassis ground, and the negative terminal is your hot. All (most) cars used positive ground until 1956 when they switched to 12 volt and made them negative ground.
