Late model wheels were black, and the factory painted the outside "Ford Wimbeldon white"
The white started in 1948, before that they were Chinese Red. 1975 Chevrolet truck Crimson Red is a good match.
Some dark blue wheels have been reported on pre-wars, more research needs to be done.
