Crosley Automobile Club 2021 National Meet V1
Crosley Automobile Club Nationals 2023 - Crosley Country

We pulled into the fairgrounds on Saturday afternoon, July 1st and  many of the regular early birds were already setup in a dozen or so camper with a few Crosleys buzzing around. Heard the first couple of members on the grounds this year pulled in on Thursday. Was another great Crosley Nationals, aren't they all.  Old friends and new friends to hear stories from and tell stories too. Finding parts you think you need for your project, maybe a new project.

The week started slow with only a few events and got busier every day till Saturday show day. Attendance was back up this year, but some distant members were missed this year because of costs.

With a few sprinkles during the week and an all out rain on Saturday morning it was hard to get an accurate count of cars on the grounds, some never came out of the trailer. Estimates were over 120 cars at the Fairgrounds during the week. Some for sale came and went before the show got fully started. A few members just like cruising around and never brought their car to the show field.

Alex did a great job as his first year as Primary Chair for the meet. New caterers and food trucks all worked.

- Photos of the meet are from Kelly Gladden, myself and a few other member. I couldn't be every where and even when I was, a different view is often better, thanks for the help.

Early Birds

The regular early birds just enjoy the great fairgrounds as a place to camp and spend time with old friends. Early Bird picnic put on by the Heartland Region on Monday night, Wauseon Cruise downtown Tuesday, some craft sessions for the kids (and adults), a breakfast cruise, Crosley Store opens, a little rain, some early informal flea marketing and much more. Flea market officially opens for 3 day, Silent Auction starts, Trading Post opens for members that have parts to sell but don't want to be tied to a flea market space, Lady's Breakfast, Board Meeting, more craft projects, FARMO, Nursing Home Cruise, Keystone Region Road Rally to Tiny's Ice Cream Stand, Fireside Chat, and much more. Friday

More Flea, Trading Post, Crafts, Pinewood Derby, Crosley Games, Annual Banquet, a Drive-In Movie and more. Friday Photos

Flea Market & Misc Photos of Friends

The 3 day flea market was bigger this year with several members bring large parts stashes, including a lot of Pre-War parts. Service Motors was back this year and in a big tent in the flea area. Service Motors was sold and changed hands at the meet. The new owners will be moving all the inventory to PA over the Summer before reopening, the first truck load has exchanged hands. Watch for official reopening announcement   Friends & Fleas Photos

Saturday - Show Time

The biggest day for seeing Crosleys, started out rainy so the total on the field varied during the day with some never making it to the field. One estimate was 120 or so total Crosley. I heard numbers as high as 27 FarmOroads for the Spotlight class including two for sale in the flea market. Not all Crosleys made it to the show field at the same time. Saturday had lots of other things going on like a Kids Treasure hunt, Flea Market, Trading Post and Silent Auction. Day ended with our Memorial Picnic to remember past members and say our goodbys for another year. Saturday Photos
