2022 CAC Nationals - Friday

CAC Friday

Friday - The flea market, trading post and silent auction continued. More people rolling in as the day went on, more crafts for kids of all ages. Pinewood Derby started late morning for the kids, lots of contenders with some new cars and some returning champions. Lots of smiles from contestants and fans lining both sides of the track. Crosley Games, always fun. In the evening the annual banquet was held. Topping off the night, a drive in move on a 20 foot screen, a Herbie movie was shown after relocating to a place where the audience was undercover in case the rains came back.

The Pinewood Derby has become another favorite activity on Friday. Seems to get more competitive and faster every year. All cars were weighed in with a few needing to remove a little weight according to the official scales.
