CAC 2009 - Saturday

Show time - Not a great day to wake up to, clouds and threats of rain.  We spent a while trying to talk ourselves out of the inevitable and then started covering up cars as the sprinkles started.  From first sprinkles to final down power was less than two hours, then sunshine the rest of the day, it was beautiful. If you didn't come or left early because of the rain you missed a great show day.  Large turn out, 118 cars for the show, all though some may not have come back after the rain, and another dozen or so for sale in the flea market, making are biggest year ever.  As with all our shows it is hard to keep the cars in one place and you could see one or more driving around all day which adds to the atmosphere, hearing the mighty whine of a Crosley.

The Spotlight class was any car shown in the first 10 years of the club, 1969-1979.  We had a nice turn out. some are pictured here and some are shown on the previous days pages.  Some of these cars make it  most every year and others have not been seen since the 70s.
