2017 Early Birds

The Early Birds were not slowed down by the holiday weekend with Saturday & Sunday arrivals reported. I pulled in for the week Tuesday morning. I like the informal days not that Crosley people ever get formal, jut lots of time to visit and watch Crosleys being worked on, with lots of free advise. Thanks to Kelly Gladden for sharing her photos to fill in things I missed during the meet.

Several car  loads of members took off for the Henry Ford Museum on Wednesday morning. Here was a favorite exhibit.

Mean while back at fairgrounds we were thinking of BBQed Crosleys instead of hot dogs. The BBQ area is always a favorite car port for a few Crosleys.

A real Crosley Baby Go Bi Bi, not a Taylor Tot

As many know Taylor made their own version and Crosley file a law suit for patent infringement.

Taylor eventually agreed to buy out Crosley and made thousands of the Tot. Yes Crosley invented what has became most babies first wheels.

Paul Gorrell seems to always surprise us, this year it was a V8 Crosley in a Doodle Bug frame, with very little modification to the frame.

Paul said he ran out of time but it would be running and driveable soon. The front fender was made from the Eagle gas can to the left.
