Eric dropped off his
CC
convertible after a 1000+ mile tow to save a few MPG when he went on to
Auburn to see some bigger cars. What he didn't know till he
got
back late in the day was he also saved an accident. His left
wheel was about to leave the trailer. Bearings were gone or
welded fast, nut was gone and the whole thing holding the hub on was
the grove in the spindle worn in from many miles of rubbing metal on
metal. With the help of several members a new axle was
installed
before the end of Thursday.
