CAC 2006 Early Birds - Thursday

previous
Many people and cars arrive early for the show once they see, the great Fulton County Fairgrounds camping facility and the close proximity to many museums and other things to visit on day trips.  I stopped by on Wednesday morning and could few Crosleys where already in and around the Fairgrounds already.  When I arrived Thursday after lunch there were Crosleys everywhere, I really need to get there earlier.  The evening finally was the fireside chat was fun with the Yankee Region building the smudge pot (I mean fire).  No mosquitos.  Was to dark for photos. Thursday afternoon started with a trip to a local nursing home for some of the early birds to host an ice cream social for the residence and volunteers.  Deane Sherman furnished the Ice Cream Truck and Ice Cream.

We had 4 cars along with the Ice Cream Truck.  The side walks were just our size to get to the pavilion for our show.

From Maine to California, from Florida to Minnesota, the Crosley faithful started to arrive.
